Welcome...
We are a boutique Las Vegas law practice working to secure the civil rights of children and young adults in Nevada schools. We help students of all ages - from toddlers to teens and beyond. We represent families in special education due process, and we defend children against unreasonable discipline and discrimination.
Cynthia Johnston, Esq
Education Law is my passion. I have sat at the IEP table as a parent, teacher, and advocate. I know how it feels when schools cannot or will not meet a child’s needs. My purpose is to help parents secure their children’s legal right to fair treatment and a Free Appropriate Public Education, even when the school resists.

The law doesn’t need to be scary. And getting help doesn't need to cost a fortune. If you are concerned that your child is not getting what they need at school or has been unfairly disciplined, please contact me for a free consultation. I can give you a candid impression of your case, and explain your options. If you don’t need a lawyer to achieve your goals, I’ll tell you that too.

I know you have many options when it comes to selecting legal help for your child. Choosing a small, boutique practice ensures that your child's case will get the personal attention it deserves. I start in every case by listening to your concerns. I am available for questions throughout the process. And I follow up after your case is resolved to make sure things are running smoothly for you and your child.
